Advertisement

This is required for any research study that advertises for volunteers (patients or healthy individuals).

Advertisements can be in the form of posters, leaflets, newspaper columns, email, social media posts, radio broadcasts or any other means.

The design and content of advertisements should not be coercive (threatening) nor present undue influence (excessive temptations / misleading claims) to potential participants.

Consider the following:

Participant information sheet, consent and assent form

Volunteers needed. We are conducting a study to find out whether a new herbal supplement is effective in improving blood circulation for people with risk factors for heart disease. You may be able to participate if you are:  -Between the age of 18 and 65 - Have high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol. Funded by: Malaysia Heart Foundation. Contact the research coordinator (Amy) at 012-3456789 for more information.   * This study involves 3 visits to Hospital A over two months. Participants will be reimbursed for travel.
