This is required for all research studies.

A Gantt chart provides an estimation of the time needed to complete each research activity. The Gantt chart for a simple survey research may look like this:

Researchers should not set overly ambitious deadlines. Crucially, research subjects should not be rushed into providing their consents.

Researchers should anticipate potential delays in the achievement of study milestones (for example, difficulties meeting recruitment targets) and consider potential solutions in terms of project management (including funding) should that happen. ⁽³⁾
